MG2 Foundation is an outgrowth of the global architecture and design firm MG2, which has been deeply committed to giving back to the communities in which we design and live for over 50 years. Each philanthropic undertaking represents social issues, challenges, and personal passions held by the MG2 Foundation community.

“What we build as a society only matters if it improves lives. That’s true in architecture, and it’s just as true in how we show up for our communities.”

– Jerry Lee, Executive Director

Architecture is more than just designing buildings – it’s about creating lasting relationships with the communities we serve. Our work is shaped by the needs, aspirations, and challenges of those who live and work in the spaces we design.

The MG2 Foundation is dedicated to fostering meaningful community connections and diversifying the architectural profession. We do this by funding architectural education, fostering philanthropic opportunities in our communities, and partnering with charitable organizations who support inclusivity, reinforce social justice, and elevate equity.

From hands-on volunteering to strategic philanthropy, our goal is to make tangible differences in our communities. By engaging with communities not just as architects but as advocates, collaborators, and neighbors, we leave a lasting impact on our world.

Our mission is to diversify our profession and activate a more just, equitable, and inclusive world.

We envision a profession where anyone can reach their full potential; a world where we come together with conviction to create and design environments that offer memorable experiences to all, regardless of who they are, where they come from, or what they hope to become.

Spreading Community Cheer Through Chicken

The Holiday Rotisserie Chicken Delivery began with a simple observation and a desire to help. Sixteen years ago, Jerry Lee recognized a growing need at the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) Food Bank and responded with a practical, heartfelt idea: provide families with warm, ready-to-share holiday meals. What started as a small gesture has evolved into a cherished annual tradition rooted in compassion and community connection.

This year, MG2 employees and community partners once again came together to support the effort, helping deliver hundreds of meals—including 450 donated Costco rotisserie chickens—to families across King County. The initiative reflects the power of collective action, where volunteers, local organizations, and donors unite to ensure neighbors feel supported during the holiday season.

More than a food donation, the Holiday Rotisserie Chicken Delivery represents dignity, generosity, and shared responsibility—demonstrating how one thoughtful act can grow into a lasting tradition that nourishes both body and community spirit.
